In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Divide the seasoned beef into 8 equal portions and form each into a small patty, about 1/2 inch thick, making an indentation in the center.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheese in the last minute.
Cut the slider buns in half horizontally. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and chopped pickle in a small bowl.
Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each slider bun, add a cheeseburger patty, and top with a lettuce leaf.
Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until the buns are toasted.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm.
