1tablespoonfresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your casserole will cook evenly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and diced ham. Add in 3/4 cup of the Swiss cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the creamy Alfredo sauce and milk until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Pour the creamy Alfredo mixture over the chicken and ham blend. Stir gently but thoroughly to ensure that every piece is evenly coated with the sauce.
Carefully transfer the mixed ingredients into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading them out evenly.
In another small bowl, combine the remaining fresh breadcrumbs with the additional 3/4 cup of Swiss cheese. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the casserole.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve directly from the baking dish or portion onto individual plates. Garnish with extra parsley for presentation.
