1teaspoononion powder
11/2 teaspoonsmoked paprika
11/2 teaspoonsalt
11/4 teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
12 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
11/2 cuphoney
11/3 cupSriracha sauce
1for garnishfresh cilantro, finely chopped
1for garnishtoasted sesame seeds
Instructions
Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly under cold water. Cut it into evenly sized bite-sized florets to ensure they cook uniformly. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk the mixture until it reaches a smooth, thick consistency that will cling to the cauliflower florets.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the prepared batter, ensuring they are generously coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off before placing them in the air fryer.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Once heated, arrange the battered cauliflower wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking and crispiness.
While the cauliflower cooks, place a small saucepan over low heat. Combine the honey, Sriracha sauce, and olive oil, stirring continuously until the mixture is well combined and slightly warmed. Remove from heat and set aside.
Once the initial cooking time is up, carefully remove the cauliflower wings from the air fryer. Drizzle the warm honey Sriracha sauce over the wings, tossing gently to ensure each piece is thoroughly coated in the sauce.
Return the glazed cauliflower wings to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 375°F (190°C), allowing the wings to become crispy and perfectly caramelized.
Using tongs, transfer the cauliflower wings to a serving platter. Garnish with a generous sprinkle of chopped cilantro and toasted sesame seeds for an extra layer of flavor and visual appeal.
